Dr. Frank McCormick

Dr. Frank McCormick is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon fellowship trained in sports medicine. He specializes in outpatient extremity care, sports medicine, cartilage/meniscal/stem cell transplantation, joint preservation, and arthroscopic treatment of the shoulder, hip, and knee.
Now accepting new patients in Broward and Palm Beach county, Dr. McCormick’s dedication to patient education and shared decision-making ensures that every patient feels empowered and actively involved in their care.
Dr. McCormick started his medical path upon obtaining his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He then completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Harvard University followed by his Orthopedic Sports Medicine Fellowship at the Rush Sports Medicine Fellowship.
Dr. McCormick was also commissioned as an officer in the United States Navy where he underwent his surgical internship at the Naval Medical Center San Diego, followed by serving as an F/A-18 Fighter Jet Flight Surgeon for United States Marine Corps VMFA-314 squadron.
He is currently proudly commissioned as a Lieutenant Commander in the United States Navy Reserve. He has also served as assistant team physician for the Chicago Bulls (NBA), Chicago White Sox (MLB), and Depaul University (Division I) Men’s and women’s basketball and soccer teams. He has also provided medical care for the New England Patriots (NFL), CrossFit World Competitions and Professional Volleyball.
