Orthopedic Hand Surgeon
Dr. Neil Ghany is a board-certified orthopedic hand surgeon with more than 20 years of experience at the highest level. Dr. Ghany has a subspecialty certification in surgery of the hand and his areas of interest include the treatment of hand to elbow disorders including injuries, arthritic conditions, wrist pain, and carpal tunnel syndrome.
An experienced Hand Surgeon in Broward and Palm Beach, Dr. Ghany has performed thousands of endoscopic carpal tunnel releases. Through his training and experience, he is also seasoned in wrist arthroscopy with TFCC repairs.
Dr. Ghany is highly seasoned in repairing fractures from the elbows to the fingertips, tendon repairs to the wrist and hand, as well as the distal biceps and triceps at the elbow. Furthermore, he received training in microsurgical techniques for the repair of nerve injuries.
Thanks to his engineering background and the mentorship of his professor in biomechanical engineering, an Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Ghany got interested in the highly competitive field of Orthopedic Surgery. He attended the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Then, he completed his Orthopedic Surgery residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY where he served as chief resident at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn.
As he sought a subspecialization in hand surgery, Dr. Ghany completed his fellowship training in Hand Surgery at the University of Miami/Jackson Health System
